
The two-year warranty period applies to Lava smartphones, features purchased on or after August 26.
Indian smartphone brand Lava has announced two-year warranty on all its smartphones and feature phones. The two-year warranty covers existing Lava smartphones, as well as future products. Although the two-year warranty applies to the existing Lava smartphones and feature phones, only those who have purchased the device on or after August 26 are eligible for it.
Breaking down the warranty period, the display unit which covers the assembly of touch panel and LCD is valid for 12 months. The battery, charger and headset, earphones and cosmetic parts like front and back cover, battery cover, volume and power key all come with a warranty of six months. The smartphones and feature phones that come under this new warranty period are A52, A44, A77, A97, A97 IPS, A97 IPS Signature, A97 2GB, A97 2GB+, Z10, Z 10_3GB, Z25, Captain N1, Captain K1+, ARC 105, ARC One+, KKT 9s, ARC 101, KKT Pearl, KKT 34 Power, KKT 40Power+, Spark i7, and Spark Curvy+.
The repairing services under the warranty period can be availed only at Lava’s authorized service centers. Lava has over 1,000 service centers across India. Although the warranty period is extended, this still doesn’t cover for damages caused due to reasons like water or food spillage, improper installation of ROM files, scratches, and unauthorized repair.
